My initial Counselling training was at the Metanoia Institute in London, where I was awarded a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and a Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for the treatment of Generalised Anxiety and Depression.

My Life Coach training was at the Centre for Coaching in London, where I was awarded a Certificate in Coaching, accredited by Middlesex University. My Couples/Relationship training has been with the Couple Counsellors Network, qualifying with a Diploma in Couples Counselling. I also integrate CBT into this area of my work, research has proven that CBT is a very effective way of addressing relationship issues.

I have worked as a counsellor since 2000, comprising work in private practice, Victim Support, in a hospice and in schools. At present my private work includes working as a counsellor for EAP (National Employment Assistance Programs) and insurance companies, working either face-to-face, with Skype or on the telephone. This work helps employees of large companies deal with personal life issues that are impacting their performance at work.
